The Sahankylä villas on the shore of Lake Saimaa, by the rapids, are ideal for couples or small families. The villas are available year-round and also popular with business travellers, as they come with their own fully equipped kitchen. There are five villas in total. Two of these have a sauna and a small sleeping loft. Otherwise, all five are almost identical.
In front of the villas, there is a pier where you can take a dip in the waves of Lake Saimaa. There is also a barbecue hut in the courtyard, which is available for guest use.
The location of the villas is ideal, as the area is quiet, yet the services of Sahanlahti are only a few dozen metres away. For example, the walk to the Koskivahti restaurant for breakfast is along a wooden bridge, crossing a beautiful sparkling stream.
Each Sahankylä villa with a sauna has 55 square metres of space. A spacious porch and hallway welcome guests. A separate bathroom and toilet ensure a peaceful experience for sauna-goers. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo and shower gel, and a hairdryer. The villa has a separate bedroom for two and a sofa bed in the kitchen-living room for 1 to 2 people. There is also a sleeping loft for one person above the kitchen. The villa has air conditioning.
The kitchen is equipped with dinner sets and cooking utensils, fridge-freezer, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, TV, and radio/speaker. During the summer season, breakfast is included in the villa’s price at the Koskivahti restaurant. At other times, breakfast can be cooked by the guests or purchased as an extra service. The price always includes bed linen, towels, and final cleaning.
